I guess you must have needed to have had your head in a bucket over the past

Notice: The five and six figure affiliate marketing days Jeff refers to in this video are not typical… He’s merely sharing his own affiliate marketing.

Okay so I’m on Jeff’s list…I was invited to watch this presentation. Got a lot from it and thought I’d put the video up here and go over it with you.

It was the overview that did it for me. Don’t know about the “Super Affiliate” part but laying it out in 5 easy steps like that really put it into perspective for me. And it can be applied to any niche you’re in.

1* Choose The Right Offers to Promote

This is obviously a big consideration for you before going to press. Choosing the wrong one can really screw you up. Which is why I am firmly coming to the conclusion that you should use your central hub to promote from. Email marketing is not what it used to be.

2* Create a Killer Bonus Offer

This is the step that seems to me that separates the ” Guru’s from the rest of the herd. The trouble is that 80% of affiliates are not even aware how to put a bonus offer together. The other 20% have the time and the resources and the knowledge to put it together. Who amongst us can compete with this depending if you have a list or not and how big it is. I recently made application to become a JV partner on one of the big launches and was declined as my list was too small. Bonus offers and Bonus pages are now playing a huge part in marketing.

3* Post That Bonus to Your Blog

This is a natural progression in this 5 step principle even if you do have the ability and resources to produce a bonus page. Take for example my own attempt. I recently purchased the domain www.optinprofitsbonus.com and it’s taken from Ewen Chia’s Optin Profits.This is what a lot of savvy marketers are doing. The same with review pages. It’s simple enough to add bonus or review to a domain name.

4* Email the Blog Link to Your List

So we come back to the list. The money is in the list we have been led to believe only it’s not. It’s in the sale. which is why it’s wise not to alienate your subscribers by sending out promo’s all the time. I believe it’s better to give your subscribers the choice to visit your central hub (Blog ). And let them make up their own minds as to what your offer is.

5* Mail Your List on Launch Day

If after your pre-launch invitations to visit your Blog you can remind your subscribers about the offer going live and mention some urgency but still keeping it short and sweet. One of the reasons video is recieved so well is the fact that we don’t like reading long salesletters.

Summary :

Take what you will from the video and either scale it up or down depending on your resources but I for one totally agree with this 5 step concept.

OK, forget everything you know about affiliate marketing. Everything you’ve been taught is simply out of date. And if you don’t change your tactics, you cannot survive.

The promise

Unfortunately, you’ve been led to believe affiliate marketing is easy. And it is – sort of. It is the easiest business you can possibly start. But “easier” doesn’t mean “easy”.

The bad news…

To top it off you’ve been given false information. You’re told to pick one of more products to promote. Next to pick your keywords carefully. Then buy some keyword ads that send traffic to the product. And finally get a fat check for all the sales. But, it’s all wrong.

Forget keywords

There was a time when this worked. But keywords are too expensive now. Adapt and change…

A better way

There is a solution to this problem. Here’s how to win at this game.

  • Start using CPA marketing
  • Instead of researching keywords, research demographics
  • Use image ads

Get into CPA marketing

CPA means Cost Per Action. It’s much better than promoting a product. Because your visitor doesn’t have to buy anything. You get paid when they take an “action”. Entering their email into a form, for example. And it’s much easier to get them to do that.

Utilize demographics data

You’re not even going to use keywords (explained below.) But demographics are highly important. Once you’ve picked the CPA offer to promote. Then hop over to Quantcast.com. And research what kinds of people will be interested.

Use image ads

So far, you’ve got your CPA offer and your target demographics. You can advertise directly to them on display networks. And use images as your ads. And there was no keyword research required. And you’ll save a fortune. Keyword ads are expensive, but image ads are still cheap.

Summing it up

This is truly a quick cash concept. Because getting started in CPA is free. Image ads are cheap. You can laser target with demographics. And your commissions are  much easier to earn.
